What strategies have you learned to survive in Fortnite?

Harvest first then build, then upgrade what you build

Play patiently! Harvest materials, and find weapons before you start engaging people. You can also use building structures as cover, this is more useful later on in the matches.

Land in places without names that doesnt have to much people, loot, harvest, build when u get shooted, follow the circle, and win :)

I want to play Fortnite

The only thing you really need is two shotguns and the high ground. That's the only way to win in this game.

Don’t drop at intense places all the time.

How open is Fortnite to explore?

avatar

It opens up more as you complete missions

The battle royale map is fairly large, but it is way smaller than PUBG

As mission come out for the Battle Royle, you will find locations that you would usually never visit, but sadly, only a couple times before going back to your favorite spot.

Quite open, but I feel as if the battle pass, (about $10 USD) is the true only source of continuous, perpetual gameplay.

With the edit build options i can be very creative!

132

You can be very creative in the original game buy building a cool looking base but in Battle Royal, you can be, but it takes time and not being blown up.

Extremely. (The pyramids make NO sense.)

It's one of the highest games talked about most of the time. 3.4 million people played it and it's getting more talked about than PUBG was.

Would you buy at full price or wait for a Fortnite sale?

11

I would wait since it is supposedly going to be free entirely next year, however pick up the battle royale mode for free now.

I would love to know this game earlier and buy it but i was introduced only the last month so i got it for free!

132

I would have liked to purchase it for full price because it seems like a really awesome game that gets updates almost monthly so I would have gotten it full sale.

How good are the sounds in Fortnite?

11

Sounds are great, and in the battle royale mod they are very useful in the battle royale mode, I would suggest using a decent pair of headphones to gain an advantage in the match.

132

I feel like they could be improved because usually, I hear shots but I actually don't know where they are coming from, it could be my headset, but gunshot sounds can be improved. and so can the building sounds be louder because that's how people usually sneak up on me.

How does Fortnite run on your PC?

1

Its a little bit heavy but anyway

132

Runs at about 60 fps, that's really all you need if you actually want to play.

I have a 2012 T420 thinkpad, so it’s hitting about 20fps on average
