Would you like us to run a PCGamesN Blood Bowl League?

I’ve been playing a lot of Blood Bowl: Legendary Edition recently and it’s absolutely excellent. So, to get everyone excited for Blood Bowl 2 (which looks absolutely excellent, too) we’re thinking of running a small league.

My question is: would you be interested in taking part?

Also, this’ll be the first league I’ve set up in the game so any advice or suggestions would be welcome.

I'm 100% up for this. Never actually set one up seriously myself though (other than going through the rigamarole to just play with a friend.)

Would I like PCGN to run a league? Yes, absolutely. Would I be interested? I really would. Do I have time to play? Errm...

I used to play in the Rock Paper Shotgun Divisions of Death for a while, and I loved it. The problem was having a wife and child meant that every game I arranged was a strain on the family arrangements, and I was really limited on when I could play without risking having to abandon the match or go AFK. I stopped playing about a year ago because of child number two, and things seem no less hectic now. I get about half an hour a night for games on a good (week)day. Even so, I really want to see a league start here.

There's always the option of temporarily losing your spawn in a shopping centre. I'd never recommend such an extreme action, but it's a choice that you have.

I am definitely interested. Played in a couple very small leagues a while back and would not mind something other than DOTA to occupy my multiplayer gaming time again.

What about the possibility of streaming matches? Or at least uploading highlights of the season to YouTube?

This is something I'll definitely look into. If there's a spectator mode that I can gain access to then I should be able to stream the games

I haven't played Blood Bowl in a long time, and the whole American Football thing confuses me. HOWEVER, I do love Warhammer and made up sports, so I would be down for this.

and you have my axe!

Well depending on the timescales, like Dog Pants, time can be limited and would probably have to drug my wife to get a window to play the match. But yeah, a league sounds great. Better than 1 on 1s as the levelling is a major part of the gameplay

That being said, it's probably over a yeah since I played,

For those of you that still don't get what all the tackle zones, assists and rolls you don't understand are. This game is almost an exact replication of the living rule book. www.bloodbowlgamers.com/downloads/LRB6.pdf
