League of Legends' next champion is Ivern, Friend of the Forest. He's focused around being nice to creatures big and small so long as they aren't Dragon, Baron or enemy players. Here's a breakdown of what he'll look like and how he'll play when he's implemented:

Stats:

  • Movespeed: 330
  • Attack Range: 125
  • Base HP: 580
  • HP Growth: 70
  • Base Mana: 450
  • Mana Growth: 60
  • Base Attack Damage: 50
  • Attack Damage Growth: 3
  • Base HP Regen: 1.38

  • Base Mana Regen: 6.9

Friend of the Forest (Passive):

League of Legends patch 6.20 Ivern passive

  • Ivern will not attack non-epic monsters. Clicking on a jungle monster creates a grove which grows over [40 - 6 based on lvl] seconds. This costs health and mana
  • When a grove is fully grown, clicking on the monsters will set them free, giving gold and experience. Smiting a grove instantly frees monsters.
  • At level 5 and higher, if Ivern frees a buff monster, an extra buff is created for Ivern's allies. If an ally kills a buff monster, a buff is left for Ivern.
  • Cooldown: 42 - 2 seconds per level (40 at level 1, 6 at level 18)
  • HP cost: 174/183/190/197/203/208/212/215/ 216/217/216/213/209/203/196/186/175/161
  • Mana cost: 135/141/146/150/153/155/156/156/ 154/151/147/141/133/124/113/99/84/67

Rootcaller (Q):

League of Legends patch 6.20 Ivern Q

  • Mana cost: 60
  • Cooldown: 16/15/14/13/12 seconds
  • Ivern conjures a vine dealing 80/125/170/215/260 (+70% AP) magic damage and rooting the first enemy hit for 1.2/1.4/1.6/1.8/2 second(s). Allies can click on rooted enemies to dash into attack range.

Brushmaker (W):

League of Legends patch 6.20 Ivern W

  • Mana cost: 30
  • Cooldown: 40/36/32/28/24 seconds
  • Passive: In brush, Ivern's attacks are ranged and deal 20/30/40/50/60 (+30% AP) bonus magic damage.
  • Active: Ivern grows a patch of brush for 30 seconds. For 3 seconds the area in and around the brush is revealed.
    • This brush operates identically to normal brush in terms of vision.

Triggerseed (E):

League of Legends patch 6.20 Ivern E

  • Mana cost: 50
  • Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 seconds
  • Ivern shields an ally, absorbing up to 80/120/160/200/240 (+80% AP) damage. After 2 seconds, the shield bursts dealing 60/90/120/150/180 (+70% AP) magic damage and slowing enemies by 70% for 3 seconds.

Daisy! (R):

League of Legends 6.20 Ivern Daisy R

  • Mana cost: 100
  • Cooldown: 160/140/120 seconds
  • Ivern summons his sentinel friend Daisy. If Daisy attacks the same champion three times in a row, she will create a shockwave knocking enemies up for 1 second (3s cooldown). Daisy gains additional damage and defenses based on Ivern's Ability Power.
  • Recasting this ability will direct Daisy to a new target or position.
  • Daisy's stats increase each rank:
    • Health - 1250/2000/3500
    • Resistances - 20/60/120
    • Bonus Attack Speed - 30/50/70%
  • Daisy lasts 60 seconds, cooldown starts on ability cast.

Story:

"Ivern Bramblefoot, known to many as the Green Father, is a peculiar half man, half tree who roams Runeterra's forests, cultivating life everywhere he goes. He knows the secrets of the natural world, and holds deep friendships with all things that grow, fly, and scuttle. Ivern wanders the wilderness, imparting strange wisdom to any he meets, enriching the forests, and occasionally entrusting loose-lipped butterflies with his secrets."

LoL Patch 6.20 Balance Changes

That out of the way, let’s start with the really important bit, shall we? What you need to remember is that stuff on the PBE like this is neither guaranteed to happen, nor to be in the next patch even if it does. This is what the folks over at Riot are thinking about doing. We’ve got the numbers on what’s changing, and a general guideline on which way each champion, item, mastery, summoner spell or rune is moving.

Patch 6.20 Champion Changes

Ashe - changed

Ashe balance changes

  • Frost Shot (Passive):
    • Base slow changed to 10-20% at levels 1-18 from 5-25%.
    • Crit slow increased to triple from double base, decays to normal slow value over first half of duration.
  • Rangers Focus (Q):
    • No longer resets basic attack, but reduces delay between attacks by 60%.
    • Active's damage per arrow decreased to 21/22/23/25/25% from 23/24/25/26/27%

Cho'gath - changed

Cho'Gath balance changes

  • Feral Scream (W):
    • Cooldown decreased to 13/12/11/10/9 from 13 seconds at all ranks

    • Mana cost increased to 70 at all ranks from 50.
    • Damage decreased to 70/120/170/220/270 from 80/135/190/245/300
    • Enemies will only take damage from one Flame Chomper per cast.

Nunu - changed

Nunu balance changes

  • Base attack damage increased to 59 from 56.86
  • Attack Damage growth increased to 4 from 3.45
  • Visionary (Passive):
    • Nunu now starts the game with his passive readied and re-readies whenever he recalls or respawns.
  • Consume (Q):
    • Cooldown lowered to 12/11/10/9/8 from 13/12/11/10/9
    • Passive changed to Feed the Yeti: For every Large or Epic Monster Consumed, Nunu gains 10 out of combat movement speed and 3% bonus max health for the next [50+5 per level] seconds.
      • 5 stacks max, do not fall off on death, fall off one at a time.
      • Willump is a fickle eater, so he doesn't receive bonuses from eating the exact same monster multiple times within 60 seconds.
  • Absolute Zero (R):
    • Movement speed slow now increases to 95% over duration of channel.
    • No longer has a cast time.

Taliyah - buffed

    • Max E damage ratio changed.
      • AP increased to 100% from 70%

Patch 6.20 Map Changes

  • Baron Nashor - nerfed
    • Dash collision knockback decreased to 0.33 seconds from 1 second.

LoL Patch 6.20 New Skins

Second most important: cosmetics. Lovely, gorgeous cosmetics. Bit more of a visual medium this, so we’ve grabbed the best videos of each skin, as well as a lovely pic or two. Some are relatively simple changes, while others are total reworks of every part of the champion outside the gameplay numbers - new VO, new animations, new particles and the rest. It’s generally defined by how much they cost, so we’ve detailed that as well.

Star Guardian Minions

League of Legends patch 6.20 Star Guardian Minions

As is now customary, a large batch of new skins comes with a selection of other cosmetics, including special minions that spawn when a certain number of the skins are used. More pictures over on [email protected], plus new game-start music for Star Guardian skin users.

Victorious Maokai

This isn't coming in Patch 6.20 and also isn't yet on the PBE. As out of place as it may therefore seem here in our Patch 6.20 PBE post, it has been confirmed via the Chinese League of Legends site with the splash image you see below.

Victorious Maokai

As the Victorious tag might have told you, this is the ranked reward skin for this year. Those who managed to hit gold or above will get it for free once the ranked season finishes, which is generally in mid-November around the same time the World Championships finish and League goes into its annual downtime.

LoL Patch 6.20 Login Screen

Each patch has its own login screen with unique music. They're always fairly excellent, and 6.20 is extra special as it gets two. The first is focused on Ivern:

There is also one dedicated to the Star Guardian skins:

Position Preference

Riot are changing the way position select works for games, but it won't be going live in 6.20 - or, in fact, until after the end of this season, likely in the 7.0 pre-patch. Essentially, they're making it so players can select two positions they like to play, and one they never want to, rather than simply forcing the game to give them one of two. This should lower the queue times for players that prefer lower-demand roles, though they will have to have skills in all but one area. Full details from Riot, and we'll hopefully see more developments on this in future patches.

That's League of Legends patch 6.20. We'll update as and when we get more info, or we'll see you for patch 6.21 in the very near future. Let us know below if there's any vital info we missed!

Taliyah's changes is a buff. No negative impacts on the champion (worked ground duration decrease, ability cool-down decrease and base stats increase).

Whoops, cheers, fixed now. There was originally another chang in there that took away her mana refund when casting on Worked Ground, but it was removed without an update to the buffed/nerfed/changed line.

Why nerf taliyah just to buff her again? and the buffs are insignificant , her q was fine!! bring back the original 50% bonus damage.
