The article indicates that when the i7-8700k is installed in the MSI board it runs at 4.3GHz and 4.7 when in the ASUS board. Is there any difference when an i5-8400? I understand the 8400 is locked but does it run at base clock when installed or operate at the boost from the start? ThanksReply

Sadly Asus' all-core enhancement feature is limited to the K-series chips only. I was hoping it would enable us to run the 8400 at its single core 4GHz clockspeed all the time, but unfortunately not :(
