If it's anything like the original (And judging from the map screen in the trailer, that's the direction they're going), it'll be a lot more technical than that. Each ship will gradually wear you down through attrition unless you carefully pick off security subsystems to open up a safer route to the core. You'll want to shut down the self-repair system first, otherwise it'll fix the drone factory when you blow that up, which is defended by the alarm system somewhere else, which is behind a door managed by the security terminal in another direction, etc etc.
That's why I said "based on the trailer". Trailer looked nothing like the first game.
Still better than the usual crap devs pump out these days.
I thought that this looked exactly like the crap devs pump out these days.
You're not wrong. It doesn't seem like a bad game, it just screams ... mediocrity. Like it didn't even attempt to outshine anything, but just reach the bar for what a decent game is.
Mostly due to the fact that it was a team-based arena shooter based on STALKER until recently. They're one large step closer to it being the game people wanted so much now.
Here's hoping it's not too much longer until the free-roam mode is out.
Nope. This looks like a game boy title from 5 years ago. Poor animation and ugly visuals. Add to that the fact that Harvest Moon has not changed or really improved since the PS/N64 era, and you've got a real flop on your hands.
If I was a Stardew Dev, I'd try and push an update out around this release date and watch Harvest Moon die.
