Too right, where the fuck is Vermintide?
Gabe has quite vocally called Microsoft out on several occasions on how their business ethic is bad for everyone in the past. Personally, the way he put forward these comments was more on personal ethic than any marketing ploy.
Microsoft always comes across totally disjointed when talking about their products and their consumer base. It will take a long time, if ever, for Microsoft to seem get customers back on board.
It's their pride, and ego. Surely they realize that they're not top dog when it comes to the gaming space on PC, but I don't know if we'll ever see them compromise for the benefit of consumers.
They're becoming the Yahoo, or AOL of PC gaming; unwilling to change or compromise, and offer second rate services that no one wants which ultimately embarrass them.
Seems you got that the wrong way around Empyre, PC is more expensive. ;)
"the man on the ground has to make a call and then they can be managed on their decision there after."
Which is exactly why the last company I worked for had policies that most of the time, meant said man on the ground not only had to deny the customer what they were asking, plus didn't have the power to grant anyway. But invariably after the customer getting mad and the manager coming over, the manager would accept the request and then the employee looked bad to the customer. Good times.
It might have been better if they'd launched as a PvE only game, yeah. The fact that they never even really advertised the PvE just drove me nuts, they just kept pushing the advertisement for the PvP segment. Most Overwatch players who seem to hate it on principle don't even seem to realise it has a PvE component.
