I'm staggered you tried to make it look like PC gamers are "whatever" and console players are trying to start a war. Because no way in hell you actually believe what you're saying. I've been primarily a PC gamer for years, I consume PC gaming-related content ever since and ALWAYS it's about a PC gamer douchbag rubbing elitism on the face of others.
This isn't about "chimps" rumbling like you mentioned. It's about guys challenging him to do the same on PC as he did on console, and guess what? He did.
And I can see you're not great at Overwatch at all. "His sound cannon is super situational", yeah, the situations being a) If the enemy is close-to-mid range or b) If he don't have a lot of mobility. C'mon, if you can't deal a decent amount of damage with Lucio you're wasting a character slot, and I know this because until not long ago I was main Lucio. Also, pushing the enemy team is a big part of playing Lucio. So if playing Lucio is this easy I'm eager to see you reaching his rank playing only Lucio, it shouldn't be that hard.
Enjoy your analog aim and hard coded autoaim all you like. Its proven time and time again that it is the inferior and weaker control platform. TO the point that your controls are so bad that the Turret classes seemed OP because you can't aim fast enough to disable them. All the console people cried about the Tjorb turrets. And no one cares about the people that get offended that it is inferior.
Again though, Lucio is the bottom of the barrel for Skill in terms of actual gameplay mechanics.
If you have no aiming skill whatsoever, Lucio, Reinhardt, Winston are your best options to rank up. I'm glad you took my comment on "not great" and translated it into "scrub tier worse than everyone ever" because your arguments rely on demonizing and discrediting people through ad hominem.
The very fact that you are trying to argue lucio's effectiveness, from what I assume is a console only standpoint, to someone on PC. Just kind of shows how disconnected this conversation is. PC exists in a much faster paced unpredictable world of movement that console cannot achieve for the most part.
Hell you can watch his video, 2/3rds of the kills are melee clean ups and sound cannon shoves, meaning the aim component of the little beat pulses are negligable at best. But, it is cherry picked footage to show off "skill", so I suspect its not a good indicator either way.
tl;dr: analog controls for aiming do not translate well to PC. Lucio does not require aim to do well. You generally play dodgeball and hope your frantic spray hits people or they position themselves poorly to environmental kills.
But, discussing game balance and skill with a console player is pretty pointless. After all there was that outcry that the "turret is OP" :^)
OMG I'm impressed with how bad people here on comments understand how Lucio works. Is this all just to still be an elitist PC gamer? Is this really a thing you're all proud of being?
Lucio in three steps:
1. stay near team
2. avoid damage while maintaining your boost or heal aura as needed. Thankfully you don't have to aim your healing support, meaning that even if you never shoot you are constantly healing because blizzard thought that was a great idea in a game about skill.
3. contribute little to no dps because his sound cannon is super situational. Hope you get a map with a cliff edge.
I'm not a great overwatch player but I can safely tell you that he is the easiest choice for support. His footage is cherry picked at best and while he does show remarkable movement skill, most of it is just lucky shoves and people playing dumb against him.
Clearly this is PC gamers just being elitist. No, this is console players trying to pretend there is a war in skill going on. No one cares that you use a slower method of playing the games, no one cares that your games require autoaim in the settings because using analog sticks to aim is clunky at best. But every time someone mentions that it is inferior to mouse and keyboard with raw input and the accuracy to be able to do so. One of you chimps crawls out of your crate and goes "but muh ecks box pee ess four" like it matters.
I hope you're joking, otherwise you must be a pretty shitty Lucio.
I don't play with easy heros.
3 boring games with little replay value in my opinion. I wouldn't mind spending twice as much money on truly top games of the last 3 years.
Superhot has an endless mode and The Witness is made to last for dozen of hours. Have you really played them before writing this comment?
When you play Lucio you just switch to healing and duck in a corner?
You sir have an awesome taste. They are three of the most awesome games of the year so far.
I don't think you're being reasonable here. If people can experience the game without paying a dime, a lot of them will, no matter how good the game is. And with a game like this, watching a playthrough is almost the same as playing. There's no doubt this fact impacted the game sales. And he's not talking shit about youtubers, there's absolutely no reason for you to sound offended like you did, he was indeed supportive.
