Wow. I thought I got a raw deal having to settle for a 1080ti FE when I only had a few weeks left in the Step-up program and immediately afterward the 1080ti FTW cards came out ( though not available through the Step-Up at the time. )

Same thing happened to me, stepped up from my 1070 FTW to a 1080 Ti FE because my window was over before the FTW3 came out.

Well it makes sense, if you can interconnect four RX 580 dies on one pcb operating like a single GPU then it would blow anything out of the water with the near perfect scaling unlike crossfire. That would mean they could put two vega dies connected together that would be much better than onboard crossfire which is basically what the pro duo is.

Pascal refresh in late summer/early fall, should be named the 11 series. Jumping to the 20 series would be a waste of marketing and numerical value opportunities for future products. They could run the naming scheme all the way up to 20 or if around 14/15 the GPUs are not selling as well, thats when you bust out the 20 series name! You have the remember the 6 series and 7 series came out a 1 year apart from each other or less than 1 year from the 690 and titan

If doesn't outright beat a 7700k in real world gaming it won't be going in my rig period. I'm not buying a lesser product just because they're an underdog. Intel needs COMPETITION. If AMD can't 1up Intel is that really competition?

Its going to be broadwell performance which raises the speed significantly over their current crop (FX9590 = i5 2500 in SC speed) and users who choose AMD alike will be happy that they will have something somewhat competitive.
