Heh, Steamed Hams, and Ugandan Knuckles are pretty much at the opposite ends of the meme creativity chart.

Of course the majority of the hate in the comments is aimed at the cop.
Just people being their usual, rational selves, I guess.Reply

People that hold the badge expect to be hated by those they protect. Heavy burden.

They cull out applicants whose IQ is above 100 and during psychological tests, also cull those who show empathy. True story.

An extragalactic, lizard-like race caused the black death, to cull mankind, and has been infiltrating every major government since. True story.

"like Jim Sterling who's, to my understanding, is funded by the end users, not the people selling the product"

What the actual fuck are you talking about?

Where do you think gamer magazines get their income from?

Ads. Gaming-related ads, that means the same guys who're making games are buying up ads space. Also, in order to be competitive, they need pre-release access to the games and if they give bad reviews, those companies will simply cease to provide that access.

How to survive the Steam winter saleHow to survive the Steam winter sale
KrimzinZV Avatar

There hasn't been since they took out flash sales and daily deals, those made the sale good.

Glen_Runciter Avatar

yeah

I know, I know, fuck grey market sites, but when a big sale means 25%, or 50% on years-old games, and they still cost more than 10 bucks, it just doesn't even register in me anymore, right next to those constant 75-80% sales...

It's so much more exciting to read about this game than actually playing it is.Reply
Malakie Avatar

LOL I was going to say the same thing. It sounds like fun when you read about it.. But not so much in game due to it being boring with very linear missions and no dynamic game play...

It also has become a free for all for griefing.. I tried when the patch came out to do some of the thargoid artifact gathering missions. It was impossible for anyone who had smaller ships because griefers camp all the sites and our small ships have no chance against them.

I have not played in months now because I just finally got fed up with it.

Some say "play solo" mode then. What is the point of an MMO if you cannot play around other people?

I like how my login says 1 hour played too.. LOL talk about way off.. I don't usually login via Steam but directly through the Elite launcher...

Man, I really don't know when are they gonna be willing to let GTA:Online go.

If you release another game with an online component, you are splitting up your base, even though there undoubtedly would be players playing (and spending on) both.

If you release one without an online component... haha, yeah, sure.

I wouldn't be surprised if the next installment would be a big-ass paid DLC sort of thing, using the same map, so they can keep the cashflow from online, and get money from the sales of that.

It wouldn't even be bad news, considering how underutilized that map is in SP... :/Reply

GTA Online is massive, but surely we couldn't go without GTA 6! There are plenty of people playing online, but there are still plenty more out there itching for another single-player experience (like me).
