My thoughts exactly. I had fun playing the game during the closed beta, but can't justify buying it at full price. I wonder when they'll implement the ranked game system, maybe I'll consider it then.
Sounds like "top level" would play it wrong then, seeing there are ways to counter blocks, either by guard breaking or (at least with some characters, I don't know them all) hitting the opponent with an unblockable attack. There might be other ways as well, but I'm really not that good at the game and don't know all the moves.
Even unblockable attacks can be parried if you time it right!
If any season pass is in the same vein as Rainbow Six it mainly takes the form of early access to new content, rather than exclusive paid access - i.e. getting to use a new warrior a week earlier, but it is still available free to everyone after that 7-day period.
I think the next BF may well be this, or I certainly hope so. There's a huge culture shock to take advantage of after players get engrossed in WW1.
Because of the Steam sales I decided to buy Verdun, I already asked and got my refund, it's not a great game.
The main problem of the game is that it just isn't engaging enough to retain players once the initial Star Wars buzz has worn off. Good to scratch that itch for half an hour every other month.
Alright, but when you do jump into it, is there an apparent shortage of players?
CORRECT, you have spotted the, er, deliberate error and won our secret Christmas quiz.
