you are very wrong at your point of view about prices in latim america.
Here in Brazil are very expensive almost any ea games at origin.
Mass Effect Andromeda here worth 199,00/249,00/339,00 BRL. Eletronic Arts here are charging full price due the Dollar increase here. I used to buy games in cash, now mass effect and star wars only in 10 times in credit card. But no problem, the porportion is1 game at origin over 100 in steam.
I 'm stating facts, not a point of view.
Origin at first back when it was EA store charged everyone in USD full price, then they started using the Mexico store prices for all LatAm and now they just raised all the priced back to full price 59.99 USD.
Prices before this started at 39.99 USD for AAA releases like , Battlefield Hardline and Battlefront. When they added Battlefield 1 pre-order (and everything after that) it was offered at the 59.99 USD price point.
uhtrance beat it straight behind with 1h32m04sec ... getting under 1h32 seems possible, they was room for 15-20sec; but going sub 90 minutes won't be possible without glitches.

You can. Heck, you're not even getting a boost for in-game gold (or steel as they call it) with the season pass. You earn that just as fast as someone that only paid for the base game.
Steel can be used for a lot of things, but most are cosmetic. What's not cosmetic is upgrading equipment to be better, but this is only available for the "Dominion" game mode. But, again, you don't even get that faster - granted, you'd have more since you don't have to spend it on new characters.
But that's it.
It really makes no sense to make Battlefront an origin exclusive, it being a Star Wars game and all. One would think that Disney would want their product on any available venue (since their games are on steam).
people need to stop praying to steam they have the worst customer service of any company I have ever dealt with
Marketing. All official battlefront videos are Playstation branded, the other platforms are not mentioned in them.
