I'm happy that they made the changes that they did. Looking back at diablo at their blizzcon presentation and staying transparent towards the crowd in the long term has certainly won my confidence back and I'm looking forward to what they'll bring next.
I just hope they can stretch the game out a bit again. Being on torment 4 after a single day of play in the new season is a little too quick if you ask me. Loot rolls are fine at the moment I could just use a little bit of stretch in the gear progression. Ancients are nice now but to me they feel too unreliable compared to the stretch I was hoping for. It's a bit uneven. My new character either gets a semi full set of gear in a few hours after 70 or after a few days. Also sets need more diversity as in which slot you can equip set items. A 6/6 or 5/6 set with 6 or 7 parts leaves little to no customization.
Yeah my biggest issue is that most of the legendaries are basically non viable despite some of them having interesting effects. Most classes have a couple of sets which are pretty much essential to be powerful and deviating from that sees a big hit to your character.
Subs or just paying customers that have active gametime? There is a difference in that.
Subs in this case are paying but not necessarily active players, and the total doesn't include trial or starter accounts.
Any idea when the new seasons begin?
I'm guessing end of january.
Downsides: Modding skyrim perfectly becomes a mastery of its own. Spent 4 hours yesterday to find the perfect loading order for the 100+ addons I run with. But when you do it's perfect.
Yeah, the last time I reinstalled Skyrim, I set aside the entire day for mods. I found stuff like Nexus Mod Manager, Mod Organizer and BOSS made sorting out the load order a bit easier.
I slowly went through at V and had the same feeling about the lore. The mini-bosses before Malthael just missed the point for me. The first boss was more like pokémon: A wild ... Appeared. The second boss felt like a 'Must kill because no part in the story left'. The new adventure mode however is great. We'll see how long it lasts but with the upcoming ladders there may be something worth the try. Meanwhile the PCGamesN clan is getting bigger and bigger and I'm doing more and more runs with clan members on a regular basis which is a good thing.
I really do agree with you on that one. I feel like the whole of Act V was just so rushed. I could of easily seen this being extended over a couple of acts and be much better paced.
On the brightside, really happy you're enjoying the clan!
