Good question. Not just that, but what about Vulkan? I find the notion that Microsoft is our only hope skeevy and it smells like a big, stinky fish.
Not possible since you needed a Denuvo-free version of the very same game which doesn't exist. But I don't see why a solution that only protects the exe file from being tampered should cause serious performance overhead.
Wasn't able to test how nicely it would play with an ultra wide monitor, but I recall it being fine for the last Tomb Raider. Also, the HUD is very minimalist, so I don't imagine you'd have any problems with parts of the HUD being awkwardly placed or elements overlapping.
