I have no idea what I was originally planning to write after the "and" but obviously I gave up. Writing news after midnight - I don't recommend it. Thanks for spotting the error though!
People still buy it because not everyone is prepared to pay stupid prices for Intel hardware. People bang on about how awesome Intel is etc which fair enough-there are some quality components out there I'm not disagreeing with that. But I for one, am not prepared to pay stupid prices. I'm more than happy with my Quadcore AMD hardware. If it can play the latest games at max detail then it's fine for me-which it does. Especially as the processor didn't even cost that much in the first place. both brands have their pro's and cons like all goods manufactured
When looking at the prices, I don't see that much of a difference between what should be comparable hardware, but the benchmarks tell a completely different story.
If you want to run the newest titles as you say, at max settings, then you will be shelling out more money in the long run, when buying AMD hardware.
The good question here is: Why are people still buying AMD hardware?
Please no more RNG cards!
The RNG is not going away, the skill in this game lies in working out ways that it is not really RNG.
You mean World of Tanks? xD
Naah really - two games almost identical to LoL AND LoL? Too much sugar in this cake!
Well, one assumes that they want as much traffic as possible and then it just doesn't make sense.
I find it a little weird, that they are chosing not to cover the current biggest esport...
Haven't played it myself at all, but have been watching Kungen doing challenge runs before hitting 630 item lvl, so if you have an idea of what to do, they don't seem that hard. Also, if you haven't played the content yourself, I don't really think you should include it. Or atleast note it as hearsay...
I thought I gave a pretty clear sense that my comments about heroic dungeons being difficult was only derived from talking to friends and guild members:
"This, from what I’ve heard, extends all the way into heroic dungeons too. After talking with people in my guild, it seems that heroic dungeons often require a pre-made group to conquer, if only for the ease of communication. As an advocate of difficult content, I’m looking forward to it."
Staggering access for the player base on release does seem to be the way to do it these days, with the player numbers that these games are getting. As for heroic dungeons being hard, well at lvl 98 you shouldn't really be able to do them, atleast the way they used to be tunes.
Yeah, I haven't done any heroic dungeons myself, because you need to be level 100. But having spoke to all my friends, including ones who would consider themselves "hardcore raiders", Blizzard have really tuned heroics to be more difficult.
