I'm one of the people who dislike the reveal trailer's tone and the depiction of world war 2 seen in it, but I gotta say that I'm really not at all fixated on the race or gender of the game character I play, but how the character is. If the character is awesome and believable; great. I won't be bored.
If I'm to believe I'm in the middle of a historical event, I'd want it to be authentic enough to feel like "I'm in it"... suspension of disbelief and all that.
If I were to play through untold stories of women during World War 2, I'd want to see depictions of the women who actually fought and did incredible things during WW2, rather than warpainted, one armed, no-scoping trenchcoat wearing heroes waving around spiked cricket bats.... as that's something I'd rather expect in a fictional setting.
(And hence fully accepting said depiction as it is not based off reality or sold as some "untold story")
But sure, I get your point and respect that you don't care as much... but would you care if it wasn't based on World war 2, but a fictional setting?
What reason is there for the developer to pick a major war, set in real historical events where real people fought and died if not to tell of said historical event?
Why not depict a fictional war?
thanks for that. I hope they will do the same with this game too.
The Beta has been announced and it is a Private beta but is able to get when you pre-order BO4
Well as they said, people sometimes use controllers instead of the keyboard because some people are better at either one.
Meeeeee! Hop rocks are only in certain areas and can't really be used as a surprise. Jet packs would be far more dynamic.
I agree with you - way easier than, say, getting kills at Flush Factory where nobody ever goes. I'm pretty sure Epic just have certain types of challenge that they designate as hard, and getting three kills is one of them.
No, I don't. So care to explain it to me?
The application streams content from your PC over WiFi to your phone/tablet. Both your PC and phone have to be turned on and connected to the same WiFi to send/receive data.
This is not Steam porting all your games so they run on your phone. It is letting you play your games around your house rather than being stuck by your PC. It will also require a controller to input controls for most games (be it a Steam controller or another Bluetooth device), although we can hope touchscreen games also get support (thinking of Civilization 5's touchscreen mode).
The talk about 'download for offline viewing' is referring to a video app, so you can watch offline any movies or videos you own on Steam. It has nothing to do with the games they supply.
