As far as i know, The faster movement speed was a bug in the original engine that was patched out later. The speedrunning community for this game all use mods to get that back. Out of bounds glitches are also widely used in this category.
I always feel that segmented runs are a bit less impressive than single segment runs. But this is still quite an achievement. Do not underestimate just how precise all of these parts had to be executed for this time to be achieved.
but thats the point if mods and glitches are fine you could make the entire game in a couple of minutes, if people want to speed run, they should do it in the constraints of the game, using glitches and mods makes the achievement no more valid than completing a game with god mode on.
I see some wonderfull coin icons above stores/attractions. So you can be pretty sure that this is going to be one of those "games" where you will click a few things every hour and than have nothing else to do if you don't pay some delicious real world moneys to atari.
Also. I'm kind of amazed at the fact that they managed to get worse animation quality on some of the rides then the original RTC's had.
And really? A wooden coaster with loops with so little support? Are they trying to symbolise what is going to happen the moment this gets released to the RTC fans? (A short moment of disaster followed by outrage)

My first thought would be that there aren't because as you say. It could trash the tension and they seem to really want to build that. On the other hand though, the scare to fire a gun because the alien might hear it doesn't make a lot of sense if your only enemy is the alien.
Either way. They do not mention any other enemy's in the video.
Maybe the gun comment was a slip-up, that we are introduced to something different altogether. I any way it made me think as well, I really hope we won't have the immersion broken by some stupid gunfights.
Aren't online passes those things they use on console to try make second hand buyers pay for multiplayer?
it's not the multiplayer pass, all firms scrapped them before the PS4/X1 released and they have been removed from all games that had them, with EA being one of the firms saying they wouldn't come back.
this is more relating to the season pass that relates to the DLC and not actual online play.
the bigger question is why the thought of their being an online pass was even brought up when they have been discontinued by nearly all publishers with EA being one of the main ones to say they were dead and didn't really work.
but since the person writing this wanted to know what they were, they were basically a CD key for the game on console, but you could pick them up for normally about £10-£15 and most likely the reason they stopped it was because it meant you could pirate the game then play as if you bought the full game for a fraction of the price.
I don't think they will. They probably will confine it to windows 9 instead.
I doubt they would limit it, that much after the trouble they had with DX10 around launch, it only being on Vista was the reason it took years for developers to take it seriously, so with Win 9 due out soonish it would make more sense to cover both bases and have it with 8 and 9.
but then with it on 8 and 9 could be ok if MS has truly learn't from the mistake they made with the UI in 8.
Bf2142 was the first fps i owned myself. I loved the titan mode in that game. Not much since has given quite the same rush as frantically trying to balance keeping the missile silos under control, defending your own titan whilst attacking the enemy's. Or those moments when my team is about to lose with everyone desperately trying to defend the titan core, whilst me and my clanmates rush the enemy titan snatching victory from their grasp at the last moment. Also loved the mad dash for safety at the end of the match to escape the exploding titan. I do however fear for how they are going to implement this in Bf4. I really want it to be good, but i dare not get my hopes up too much...
