ModDB and IndieDB reveal their top ten mods and indie games of the year

STALKER

ModDB opened up the public vote for 20 days to decide on their Mod of the Year, and now the community have reached their decision, with Stalker: Call of Chernobyl taking the top spot.

If you want a list of the best games of 2016, our picks are at that link.

Call of Chernobyl is a 32-map sandbox mod for Stalker: Call of Pripyat. The mod boasts engine enhancements, reworked levels, a new arena and a bunch of other tweaks to the post-apocalyptic shooter. Expansive Skyrim mod Enderal took second place.

Here’s the top ten in full, from bottom to top:

  • Expanding Fronts - Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds
  • RHS: Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - Arma 3
  • Call of Warhammer: Beginning of The End Times - Medieval II: Total War: Kingdoms
