The Witcher 3 is a good-looking game, there’s no denying it. Still, some of its textures are starting to look a bit dated by now. They could do with a touch-up. Luckily, there’s a mod that does just that.

If The Witcher is your thing, you should check out our list of the best RPGs.

Last week, we covered the Super Turbo Lighting mod, which makes The Witcher 3’s world bask in a believable glow.

Brilliantly, that lovely lighting mod is compatible with the one in the video above, which reworks some of the game’s ugly textures.

The Witcher 3 HD Reworked Project, as it’s called, tweaks a bunch of flat textures, from thatched roofs to braziers.

Wooden crates, tables, crates, bear furs, and more all get the HD treatment, with much improved textures plastering over the flat uglies.

Head over to Nexus mods and give it a download.

Finally, FINALLY got around to playing it. Yep. Its every bit as good as people harp on about. The part where you are getting groomed for Tywin Lannister was particularly great.
